Tell us how you really feel lol.

Seriously though? Why the hell do you hate them so much? They've had some big failures over the years, everyone makes mistakes. Overall they're pretty solid. Not to mention the fact that they bounced back after the 2008 stock market crash really well. They're doing really well right now in the market, best they've been since late 2007, before the crash.

Don't really consider that failing.

Meanwhile Sony's stocks never came back since 2008.

Sony has been a better choice all along. Next gen will be the deal sealer.

It's not their failures that make me mad.

It's the way they deal with anything they see as a threat. They have a history of being underhanded, dishonest, and anticompetitive. I guess I'm a bit of a techno-legal geek, but I remember that they funded SCO's charades about "owning linux," and Microsoft's claim that Linux violates their patents (which they never bothered to identify or prove). Their current attack on Android doesn't help.

I could go on, but it's not productive. Needless to say, I just don't like them XD.

Taking a step back and trying to look past my biases, I don't seem them as primed for success. They had their time of domination, but that is past. Their catch up attempts aren't going to dislodge the bigger market players, and Windows is slowly going to bleed users to Apple and Linux (as has been happening).

My PS3 just took a s!*@. Won't accept discs, it spits them out... but it won't play or recognize it. So, yeah... I'm on the market for a new console, it was PS4 all the way but now... I don't care for Xbox. Wasn't Apple going to release a console too?

Sony's main business is in home electronics, an industry that has taken severe hits since the highs in 2005-07. They've been more resilient than most.

When will the fails ever stop?

Most likely true. I saw some reports about PC button prompts when they were showing Battlefield.

EDIT: explicit confirmation from EA here.

Pretty normal at E3 or any expo really. Was just a picture to sum up MS's failed E3 experience this year.

http://penny-arcade.com/report/article/ ... what-those

Microsoft has backed off a bit on their insane DRM policy. Now they're no longer requiring a daily checkin, and they've eased up a bit on the game sharing and reselling.

Apparently, instead of the Xbone, we're now calling it the Xbox 180.
