A classic example of the uninformed getting information from the uninformed. Or "blind leading the blind".

i watched the whole trial from start to end. I believe the city covered it up and let him free.

That you "believe" that after being an "informed viewer" does not speak well of your sources, now does it?

Then you would know that the state of Florida wasn't even gonna prosecute Zimmerman. They only did after a backlash from the public and certain celebs got ahold and lit the fire under their ass..

WD, I'd rather leave the whole neighborhood watch thing out of it, as it really has no bearing in this case.
Zimmerman was a legally armed citizen. The story, true or not, says he was attacked and used deadly force to protect himseIf.

This again WD? Are you really trying to politicize this as well?
Let's just focus on the subject and the trial/case.

In WD's defense, this has been a political issue from day one. Seeing as the president brought up gun control again when the verdict was released, and many other politicians were and are currently involved in this, I don't see how you can limit the discussion.

I think you guys overcomplicate what he says. He just pointed out that Zimmerman should have been more prudent, that's it.

also, let me add that I watched Zimmerman's brother interview. He speaks spanish with heavy american accent but I can say that by the way he talks and the way he acts... the zimmerman family is very decent and respectable. On top of that, Zimmerman (from the incident) volunteered to be a neighborhood watch, which is very commendable. Overall, very decent people.

Obama politicized the case when he started weighing in on it

True story or not and as Haas indicates this man was armed and due to it plus the use of deadly force a boy was killed. Does it make it right, I would say not but equally so if things and happened the other way around would that right, again no it would not.

There are various witness statements about the fight on the ground and if it went to the floor and you knew how to remove a mounted assailant then the technique of bucking/rolling and pulling the weapon to fire is relatively easy to do. The weapon discharged between 1 and 18 inches when it hit Trayvon which is very close indeed and GSR plus blood spatter should have been detectable at the scene of the crime on both the victim and the person who discharged the weapon unless this was not done correctly and in a timely manner, who knows?

A neighbourhood watch captain like Zimmerman should have responsibilities such as reporting any suspicious activities and crimes whilst the police are tasked to deal with and apprehend the criminals and/or suspicious individuals. I would say it is questionable as why you would approach an individual if you thought it could become life threatening incident for either party. You would not want to put yourself in that position you would remove the risk and not increase it.

Unfortunately this is one of many killings in the world. It has been blown-up so large because it took place in the USA, the media picked it up and it went global.

There are far worse places and crimes throughout the world. I am not being insensitive here.

Not to detract from the topic in-hand and a life is precious, it's very sad when things like this happen and we will never know exactly what transpired but the current fact is Zimmerman is free and Trayvon is dead and justice prevailed for one whilst injustice transpired for the other party.
