I've had this idea as well but think about this... every time a battle ends the list of all players show up how they performed. However, sometimes the server freezes as well as your cpu. If you reduce the amount of units to kill to win, you will have a higher chance of having more "server freezes". As you see if you make this idea real, there willl advantages and disadvantages.
The best idea I personally think is from JAF. The time limit will solve max his problem as it is ours. Also, take the right time limit. Go test how long it takes when a battle is over. Do this when there are many and not many people on the server. I guess the battle is mostly over around this minutes 15 to 30 minutes but I can be wrong.
