This happened before where people thought a GFAQ gent didn't die, when in fact he did. Please respect the possibility that someone actually did die.

As a side note, if they do choose to fake their death to leave an online community, that is a silly plea for attention. It's easy to disappear without saying you're dead.

I wouldn't consider anyone from SWBF2 as a friend aside from a select few I talk to outside of the gaming community. And to be fair to those of us who doubted, Mawk, he had pulled the disappearing act quite a few times to avoid saying where he really was at the time.
And SR has always just been about trolling.
