I wouldn't consider anyone from SWBF2 as a friend aside from a select few I talk to outside of the gaming community. And to be fair to those of us who doubted, Mawk, he had pulled the disappearing act quite a few times to avoid saying where he really was at the time.
And SR has always just been about trolling.

i freaking changed things on the NH site, putting stuff about "In Honor of -SR-Boss", becuase he was a friend of one of our site members. imma be real pissed if you tell me this was a troll. i got the info about his death from a trusted friend, dude. if you SR ppl are just trolling by this whole Boss's death thing....

Well, Y'ALL who are posting commiserating on this alleged loss or demanding that the post be removed out of respect for Boss being alive or what have you.. the egg is all over your faces. Boss's alleged death should NOT have been posted here AT ALL... What you guys don't know (and haas, you're slippin' bro... ) is that Boss is BANNED from these forums for harassing members and flaming threads.. The reason I didn't remove it from the beginning was I wanted to see how long it took someone to figure this out...

If Boss was really dead, I don't think any reasonable person would care that he was banned from the forums. To be honest, I don't see what kind of correlation you're trying to draw here unless you're literally saying that being banned from here makes you an unperson or something.

To clear things up, I spoke to Boss today. Here's what he told me... "I went away for a week, I come back and I'm dead". So... yes, it was a prank. Glad he's still wasting space like all of us.

Haas, I received word of this via JOG General Sparta, one of my close and trusted friends. I had good reason to believe it. He was( or, I guess, is ) friends with boss. And he heard about this through xfire. So don't blame me, or Sparta. Blame the SR jerks who thought it would be funny to prank an entire community of gamers.
