I'm not offended. I played on WGO since release, though, and joined SS before any of those guys. I remember when Biggs bought his way in.

Haas used to play and admin all the time. o.0

Flyswamper wrote (with minor edits):

I'm sure there is a richer more interesting story, but what I would say goes something like this....

Once upon a time there was WGO.
WGO had rules to be a family friendly place to play SWBFII
Certain members started making up their own rules and tried taking over things like teamspeak
WGO support cracked over the importance of SWBFII and the family friendly nature it was known for. Some left, some really didn't care
Certain members didn't like the fact that they weren't powerful enough to keep the community SWBFII and family centered
Certain members split off to form GMRZ where they could make their own rules.
as fortold WGO key financial contributors the REAL WGO power decided they didn't want to keep paying for Star Wars...they wanted to focus on Battlefield games and not enforce family friendly rules
Because of bad blood between those who left and those who stayed SWGO was born to keep alive the Star Wars Battlefront servers/group/community
WGO carries on doing the Battlefield thing, SWGO carries on doing the Star Wars Battlefront II thing, GMRZ carries on doing their thing...

I'm sure there are more colorful histories...but that is it in a nutshell from where I sit....

Hey, Dread? Why do you still give a [poo]? I mean I was gonna post something pretty insulting about how you're still even slightly angry about this, and was gonna laugh at you and all that, but honestly? This is something that happened so long ago and is of so little consequence that i'm less annoyed than curious at your inability to let the subject drop. Half a decade later, and you still resort to petty sniping. You should have more important things to care about. I have more important things to care about and i'm a babby child of twenty years old. What the [m'kay], man?

I have one post on a 3 plus page topic that centers around me. My post edited flyswampers narrative only slightly. There was no "sniping" unless you count the obvious SW pun "as fortold". I didn't come up with a 5 page "his side of the story" type post. That should show you I too think It's no big deal. And the fact you thought better of a typical nargatoh flame spitting rant, confirms that it isn't.

Look...I joined SWGO 'after' the WGO incident/split. So WGO no longer wanted to play Battlefront 2. So what?!? SWGO got formed, WGO moved on...all is good... WGO is a distant memory... Everyone is happy...Woop dee [m'kay] doo! Move on.
