I've grown up on the PS2 SWBF2, but it's become just about dead(30 max players daily)
From playing the PC version for about 4 months, it's notable that SWGO's servers are the most active, and have the best connections for all players.
My suggestion is hosting XL maps.
For those who didn't play offline modes, it's on 3 conquest maps but you work to earn a score a if you're playing Assault modes.
And it dumps oodles of AI's(40+ per side)
I know XL maps are not listed in the server manager interface, but they can still be activated, they do exist in the mission.lvl script.
To activate the maps(if admins want to take the suggestion)
Edit your player menu configuration file and add this:
Add Maps>Geonosis XL"/admin /addmap geo1c_xl"|cmd
Add Maps>Hoth XL"/admin /addmap hot1g_xl"|cmd
Add Maps>Kashyyyk XL"/admin /addmap kas2g_xl"|cmd
Or instead of adding them in rotation, change them in real time with:
Change Maps>Geonosis XL"/admin /changemap geo1c_xl"|cmd
Change Maps>Hoth XL"/admin /changemap hot1g_xl"|cmd
Change Maps>Kashyyyk XL"/admin /changemap kas2g_xl"|cmd
You can also login to a server manager from in the game and activate those commands.
The maps will successfully work, I've used it myself on my own server manager.
The only warning will be the high risk of crashes.. 32+ humans and 40+ bots per team may not end well. There is no console command for XL AI limit or score limit.
