The clone wars show was ok at first, but it got significantly better as time went on. All the people who worked on it got better at what they did (animation, voicing, story writing, etc).
That last season was very impressive I think.
Very much looking forward to Rebels, because most of the crew is coming back for it.
im still a bit angry to know that the Clone Wars has not come back. They simply terminated the show and we don't even have an ending. I read somewhere that they will release a part of the last season, but they will not finish it entirely. They will simply publish what had been done and that really sucks. The show was very high quality for television. It was "movie-quality". Everything I said happened. Disney stopped all the projects when they bought star wars so that they could "focus on the films".
Yeah, exactly, in the end the quality was comparable to the movies and I'm also pretty pissed to not see it being finished properly. They will give us 'Bonus content', so maybe a few episodes, once it was 4 but after checking Dave's Facebook I think it will be more. Still - it deserves more than that, what about Maul, Death Watch, Ahsoka.. This series nicely filled the gap between movies but it's gonna create new ones in the end.

I don't know...that sounds like bullcrap that the Disney executives force him to say. It's office politics. He knows it sucks to kill the old series, but what choice does he have? He'll never say anything bad about Disney's decision to eliminate the show or he could loose his job.
This video clip is from Star Wars Rebels. Dave Filoni and team discuss their new character "Chopper" in this interview, a droid the team of rebels use in the upcoming TV show "Star Wars Rebels." Enjoy!

This new video clip is from Star Wars Rebels. Dave Filoni and team discuss their new character "Kanan" in this interview, a rogue Jedi in the upcoming TV show "Star Wars Rebels."
Executive producer Dave Filoni describes Kanan as a "cowboy Jedi." And unlike the stoic knights of his order in the Star Wars mythos, his banter is as sharp as his blue lightsaber strokes.
There is some melancholy, too. Kanan lived through the attempted extinction of an entire culture when Order 66 came down during his formative years, and he's massively affected by it, says Prinze.
"He definitely has seen more than what a young man should see. And what he had to see was pretty much the worst thing you would have to witness." Enjoy!
