Or shoot them out of the air with a sniper rifle.

Only if they're stupid enough to land in front of you. As good and accurate as I am as a Vanguard, a decent DT exploit user will defeat me 9 times out of 10. Can't move fast as Vanguard, and it has a very slow reload. Wereas if I see the DT at a distance as a Sniper, or catch a break between stuns as an Engy, I have a chance to shoot several times at the DT either killing them or at least wounding them before they finish me. Finding cover under overhangs, between buildings in tight spaces or in rooms like the cantina are best, since DTs typically won't attack unless they have a clear shot from above (like a rooftop) and can sneak up to get the first shot then quickly exploit the cheat so you can't fight back.

If they get the drop on you, you're usually screwed. If you see them flying by, though, pivot and fire :gunsmilie:

The main problem involved is how the arc caster was coded to "seek out" targets automatically. there's no real aiming involved for the first two shots, only the third is an issue. But in reality, how many players are there who can even play darky well? Last time I played more than once every eight months (roughly 2012?) there were maybe five or six players who could even accomplish the third shot half the time.
[04:25] -SR-Mandalore: who pitches and who catches
[04:29] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: We'll do it in turns.
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: That sounds super fair
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: Do you think other gay couples do that?
[04:30] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: I reckon so.

Triple shocking is the most fun. Nothing like spawn killing wookies or 'armored' heavies.

Triple shock kills 'all' classes. No matter what their strength. You might need a fourth for Damage reduced Wookies, but that's it.
