Gamespy is screwing up, HELP!

Yesterday when I tried to access my multiplayer on SWBF2, it said my gamespy server was not connected. I have no idea what that means! I visited my account on gamespyid.com, and tried to see if something was wrong...everything was working. I logged out of my gamespy account and just tried to go into my multiplayer but it was stuck at 0%. I waited for about a half an hour and nothing happened. HELP!

Perhaps your Firewall is blocking SWBF2

No, this has never happened before, it just decided to fail on me for some reason...I really don't think firewall has blocked it...I have been playing this game for 3 years now and this was all new.

Well, did you actually bother checking Firewall before coming to this assumption? It's happened to me before

Gamespy has been down for two days. This is not a problem that is exclusive to you. Just play with a profile provided by SWBF2.

Many thanks to all who replied...I just tried everything I could and my multiplayer is up and running again. I greatly appreciate you guys helping me! If I have more problems in the future, I will make sure I ask you guys!

Never used Game Spy, any benefit?

You get to "Add buddies" in-game if that player has gamespy too....by getting the players list up with TAB, but that only shows you if they're online or not and if you can join their game.

So basically: No.
