The girl was working with her lawyer. She accused him of it but the lawyers needed proof so they had her tape a conversation. And regarding the sale of the team, he will owe 23.8 tax on all the sales prices. So he could have to pay a few hundred million dollars. He has said he has no intention of selling the team anyway so it will be interesting to see what happens

First I apologize for any sexually explicit titles but these videos are the easiest ways to say what I want to say. Plus... you guys... There is an arbor day message included in the second video... and porn is involved.

Along with the sanctions that Donald Sterling faces the other NBA team owners coming to a 3/4 vote to force him to SELL... So all in all.. EVERYONE WINS in this sitch...

He made some racial comments in a supposedly private conversation. The conversation was taped and released to the media.

hmm. well, i suppose if the NBA hadn't reacted like this everyone would be hating on it as well. still, why can someone secretly tape you? what happened to the 4th amendment? shouldn't the Katz vs US case protect this guy?

He was "exposed" as a racist and she was exposed as a "plastic post op money grubbing garden tool"

And what, pray-tell, makes that 'Legal'?!? She needed to be in Law Enforcement and have a Judge sign off approving the taping (i.e. like a 'wire tap'). Her stupid Lawyer has no such authority.

Eh, depends on the state. In RI, as long as one party knows the call is being recorded, there's no problem.

CA is two party.

This is going to be a big problem in court (and it will end up there regardless of what the NBA owner's agreement says, courts have said again and again that you cannot restrict someone's ability to sue in this manner).
