It seems like the PC side got fractured after the downfall of GameSpy. Between GameShare, GameRanger, and Eye's solution the PC community is split and I doubt it will ever even partially recover. The PS2 side on the other hand only has GameShare so it's more populated.

As far as SWGO and BF2, it's likened to 'running outta gas' and not giving a [poo]. Why? Because of burnout on BF2, and we cannot get it to the level of Gamespy without a really [female dog] computer system hub that acts in the same fashion with someone to to run it as well.
But, deep down, I think the hopeful release of BF3 would blow a strong, fresh wind into everyone's sails, and likely Gamespy would be set up to be the hub again. If/when that happens, we'll likely have a couple SWGO Servers again along with the clan servers. Guess we'll see what happens.
