Intel i7-3770 @3.40GHz
16GB RAM
64 Bit OS
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

Might invest in solid state HD some point this year.

My computer is 5 years old:
Phenom II X6 1090T
12 GB Ram
GTX 260

I have to replace the graphics card, so I will wait to the last moment, to get the best card I can afford for the best price. Right now I like the GTX 960, and R9 280. AMD has a new R9 300 series to be released this year, so that will be interesting to look at and the older cards will drop in price as well.

ASUS VG-248QE monitor.

Thing eats up any game, super fun. Cant wait for 100fps for Battlefront.

Nice comp, how much was it?

About 1500$, including the monitor, which was 280. Best investment tho, and the case has a carrying handle to its portable.

Definitely invest in an SSD Kren, I have a 120GB one, and I made it my boot drive, so everything loads faster, either when you're just turning the computer on, or sitting in loading screens for games. Good investment.

This is such a coincidence! lol
Since I'm not going to become the number 1 ranked player I won't need the best equipment on the market like the GTX 980 Ti. I decided to go for a cheaper option but still a very effective one. It seems that I have the same cpu and gpu as Fail.? But really nice setup Fail.? my compliments

EDIT:
My NEW PROSPECTIVE PC SPECS:

Monitor: BenQ XL2420Z
Mouse: Logitech g502
Mousepad: steelseries 9HD and steelseries qck+
Keyboard: Logitech K100
Headphone: Sennheiser HD 598

CPU: i5-4690K
GPU: MSI GTX 970
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A
SSD: Crucial BX100
HDD: WD Blue WD10EZEX
Memory: 8GB-Kit G.Skill Sniper PC3-14900U CL9-10-9-28
Power supply: EVGA 500 B
CPU fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Computer case: NZXT Phantom 240
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit - OEM

EDIT: The GTX 980 Ti and the GTX 970 are the best gpu's (for it's price) on the market today. Don't buy a GTX 980 and definitely don't buy a GTX Titan X (except if you do a lot of video editing). Just some advice for yall.

Thanks Judge. There is really no need to get anything over a GTX-970, it goes into the realms of overkill. Most games secure 60+ FPS with a 970. i5 processor is great, especially the 4690K. If you are doing any editing or streaming might as well upgrade to an i7-4770K though. For the monitor I completely recommend the ASUS VG248QE, check it out. Thing is beautiful, not that expensive, and runs at a 144Hz refresh rate. It'll look like butter for the new Battlefront. I tried it on the new Batman game and it's lovely, I recommend 10/10.
Word of advice, do not, in Heaven or Hell, use Windows 8. PLEASE. Windows 7 has better optimization, and is cheaper. I got mine through work for free. PLEASE NO 8.1.

Happy building!

Thanks for the advice!

EDIT: Your monitor (Asus VG248QE) is listed on this website with the benq xl2411z (I was thinking of getting the 20z but since it's hard to find one in my country - Belgium - I might go for the VG248QE)

I found a website that compared the best cards for BF3. I assume anything below the red line is toast, anything above the yellow line is gravy, and anything in between is uncertain, and anything above the green line is overkill for the needed graphics. Have a look. Thanks.

Looks good WD. My card isn't on there, as it is much higher than the R9 290. I wouldn't recommend that card, there are lots of complaints of it overheating, which is not good at all.

And Judge, pick what monitor you want, but I can personally recommend the VG248QE.
