My Sister-in-Law has battled Alcoholism, and was hard-core Alcoholic. She can't do much of anything now. Referring to 38 as an 'Alcoholic' is like comparing a Major League Baseball player to a T-Ball player (38 and sooo many others). Alcoholics can't even function. 38 functions just fine from all I've observed, and is just going thru a difficult time. Perhaps, you, Tom will experience those 'downs' in life when you least expects it. Count your blessings.
I like beer..and rum...so what? And I drink when I want.
So you lever lost a loved one that you were very close to Tom?
One can have tough problems around them, complain, be scared, frustrated, and even slam a few drinks down here and there to feel a little better...and still function fine. Get thru the rough times and move on.
You seem to be angry at something Tom...constantly trashing others over some pity-party you're having. What is it? Come on...tell us....let go the anger you have inside...tell us why the 'dark side' has such a hold on you.
