Yea it is, and it's quite funny, they have a "burrow" ability, which allows them to permanently be in the ground, untrackable.
It's funny when 8 spiders pop out of nowhere from the floor and start spitting poison at you :D

Haha, yep. I tried out the Monster Play for about 20mins. Seems quite good, but I didn't manage to get into the PvP area.

The whole area is PVP, however if no people are playing...you wouldn't think that
It's funny my spider in that game i love way too much(people in ventrillo always say i have too much fun when i trick people and do some kind of evil laugh)
However I'm scared of spiders

As far as i know, for avatars yes, for signatures no.
