Are all SWGO members allowed to admin as soon as they join, or do they have to reach a certain rank or something?

Being chosen as an admin requires one to be a member for a certain amount of time. On top of that, one must earn the trust and respect of the other admins to be considered on the list of being chosen as an admin. That means being respectful to all and not breaking the rules in the forum or in-game.
Also, asking to be an admin will reduce your chances of actually being one. So just follow the points above, be patient and have fun.

Hey Floob,

The admin privileges are not granted by tag or rank here.
When the current admins decide we need more admins for some of the servers we consider who from the players may be a good asset and we make him an offer to join us.
Easy as that. Enjoy the servers, follow the rules and if there is need for more admins we may eventualy invite you someday.

Thats a myth that started back in the days when there were open applications for adminship.
Since there were countless of senseless applications by extremely unacceptable candidates, we had to stop it somehow...

The truth is that one do not need to ask for adminship. If you are good for the job we will ask you.
