Ok Star Wars nerdies here's a question for you. When the Millenium Falcon released it's docking clamp off the back of the Star Destroyer and floated away with the garbage and then flew off to Cloud City. How did Boba Fett, whose ship was tossed out with the trash know to do that and follow the Millenium Falcon?

It's quite simple.

Boba fett is the best bounty hunter ever*.
He isn't stupid and he knows the milenium falcon has no cloaking device for this reason he knows the milenium falcon is still around.

Now he would know that Han solo isn't dumb enough to travel trough lightspeed with the imperials as this would mean certain death.
So he knows that when the imperials disapear the milenium falcon will move and escape.
So to catch it he gets trown out with the garbage and this way he tracks the milenium falcon without being detected.
He's Willing to trow his ship in the garbage to catch han.
And by doing this he made a lot of $$$$$$$$$

I'm looking fro some factual element here. The Imperials could not figure out how the Millenium Falcon disappeared and for all intents and purposes it was gone. A co mmander was choked to death by Darth Vader because of it. I was thinking maybe if something actually read the book it may have given some insight on how Boba knew.

well, the answer isn't that complcated.
You remember maybe, someone on the star destroyer reported Vader that "millenium disappeared from radars" exactly when it flow above them. But also you remember they were pursutiting him before that fact. They realized in that moment that Han's lightspeed engine is not working they said something like "he attacks us!" with quite a shock. The only smart was Bobba. He figured out it from this. There was no "factual element". He wasn't able to get know they had something screwed u with lightspeed before.

Ok there's a fault with your premise. You're assuming the Imperials knew that the Millenium Falcons Hyper Drive wasn't working. There is no indication that they knew that information

Han landed on the Star Destroyer, turning off the engines. This means that Imps could no longer find the Falcon on the radar, due to the fact the Falcon's engines were off. So, when Han took off, Boba saw him appear on his radar. He knew it was Han because the blip on the radar just appeared.

ok that is true but Boba did not take off in his ship from a hangar bay like typical ships would. He allowed himself to have his ship sent out with the trash. Why?

He parked Slave I in a handicap hangar. The Imperials, having a bit of fun with the snobby Boba, towed his vehicle into the trash as a joke. The rest just fell into place for the bounty hunter.
