Sup. I'm new here

Postby {JOG}Neji » Wed May 18, 2011 4:14 pm

Hello. I'm Neji and I'm from the PS2 side of SWBF2. I was wondering how active this game was on PC, and if assault was as popular as it is on PS2. My friend told me that SWGO was a big clan on SWBF2 for the PC, so I thought I'd look you guys up and come check it out. It's likewise I'm going to be getting the PC version for modding purposes. That being said, what's up?

I look forward to getting to know the community a lot better once I buy the PC version. Hopefully meet some skilled jedi players. :D

Hello and welcome.
SWBF2 is still shrinking for PC, but we host several servers which stay active day and night.

Thank you.

Well I ask because PS2 only has about 200 or so players online at a time now. I remember back in 2005 there was probably 15,000+ people. Those were the good old days. The metagame hadn't evolved at all, and I was one of the very few players to master Jedi in that era. I've been the top Jedi player for probably 3/4/5 years now (don't really remember). Competition on the PS2 is weak. How about PC? Any absolutely amazing jedi players when it comes to 1on1? (Mos Eisley, we don't have assault on every map on PS2. The game crashes)

Many of the outstanding hero players have left the game... you still may find some competition here though =)

When an outstanding player leaves, another takes his place. :afro:

If I have at least SOME competition, I'll be very happy.

Soon as my game gets here in the mail I will see you guys. :)

By the way, I see on the server list there is 1.1 and 1.0 servers. Can I play in either of those if I patch my game when I get it?

Please elaborate, I am very confused.

Yes dowload the patches. It will also help you see all the servers. Let us know if you have any problems.
I play Jedi Battle Arena (JBA) almost exclusively. Hero Assault (HA) can be challenging, but ignore the occasional competitive chat banter that you may come across, particularly on HA. I use PC, as I am too old and uncoordinated for joysticks/PS2 etc...at least that's what I feel.
Welcome aboard, and hope to see you on JBA someday! :gunsmilie:

Okay. Thank you.

So what is JBA? Modded Heros on Conquest maps? On PS2 the most we can do is faction hero vs faction hero. Like Mustafar, Obi-Wan vs Anakin. What is it in JBA? Assault on conquest maps? If so, I'm going to get all hyped. Lol.
