For the record, I do not 'hate' Obama. I do not wish any ill-will toward him. I just want someone in office Liberal or Conservative, who knows what they are doing to fix our economy before it's too late. I'm really worried about what's going on. Many are.

And KT...I understand. Palin came on the scene too fast and suddenly for the public to absorb her kind of personality...She is pretty overbearing.

Really, the thing that keeps the two parties from seeing more eye to eye would be the issue of homosexual equality (I know a few atheists who are fiscally conservative but can't come to bear with that kind of intolerance) and then the far lefters who think that with 14 trillion in debt we should embark on an epic scale of socialism. It's a nice idea, but like gun control, just isn't practical for a nation our size.

Hmm, let's see. You are illiterate, you are stupid, and you are simply following the political ideologies of your parents in an attempt to feel intelligent. You [m'kay] aren't. Shut the [m'kay] up, learn how to spell Bush and million, learn some [m'kay] grammar, and find out that you can't be "ten times better than someone in a million years". Seriously, what the [m'kay] are you even saying, you retard?

Compromise?? since when?? the health care bill with 0 republican votes? or how about the huge waste of a "stimulus" bill that stimulated only the state union employees. This fool has spent money like no other person in history and has nothing to show for it, we went from 10 trillion in debt to 14 trillion in the blink of an eye, and what do we get from it? 9% unemployment forever. Where's the promise of cutting the deficit in half by the first term? I guess he had to quadruple it first to cut that in half. Bush did spend a lot more than was needed and didn't stand up for himself enough against the extreme left. Considering there was 9/11 followed up by Katrina the economy during his presidency was pretty dammed good and all we heard was how terrible the 5% unemployment was.. well i for one would be glad to have that back. And don't get me started on Obama's foreign policies.. I thought he wanted out of wars, but instead starts one without congress' approval.. just a little unconsitutional.. I can't wait to see what kind of Jewish support he'll get in the next election too, I'm sure backing all of Israel's enemies will go over well.

Mandalore... hmm.. your use of right wing nut jobs and definition would only fit a very, very, small group of people.. so why use it? The vast majority of conservatives and those on the right want equality for people not thru redistribution of everyone's income by a bunch of pinheads but instead want equality of opportunity. I don't want to be paying my hard earned money to people that can work but don't, or have my taxes dictated by those who don't pay a dime (the latest number is 51% of americans don't pay any federal income tax). We want to help the truly needy, but that definition keeps getting changed by the left to try to contain more and more people that really don't need it.

I just became a US citizen Friday and I CANNOT wait until the next election to cast my vote against this fool of a president. :usa:

Pretty big difference of being 'related' to participants and just living in a Muslim Country, versus Obama actively participating at this wacko church Pastor's Parish, absorbing his anti-american crap while having no prblem at all continuing to be a 'Member' there.

Yes, I attended several events in Mosques, including prayer once or twice. Though I have never participated in any Nazi rally or the like, I dislike their ideology and despise their actions (both past and present). Even though I attended Muslim prayer, it doesn't automatically mean I'm a Muslim or believe part of the Qur'an/faith. I also attended prayers in Synagogues and several Churches of different Groups of Christianity like the Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant Church. Does that make me a Christian or that I believe in the religion (even slightly)?
One can go to a church and listen to the Pastor, but that doesn't necessarily mean than one would believe 100% of what he said or even anything at all. That is what I was trying to get across, Obama may have attended the Church but that doesn't mean he has the same views as the Pastor. He also publicly resigned his membership in the Church in 2008. That is what I meant with generalization.
Hope that clears it. :punk:

Cheers

Yanoda

He attended there for 20 years!! Even if it was only every other service it's still about 500 sermons.. you don't attend a church for that long and not believe a good portion of what's said. He may have renounced ties to the pastor, but that was only after what was being said at the church came out. Obama dedicated his book or had some very positive things to say about him in his book (I can't remember exactly which), not something someone does when there is little that they share in common.
