Can't figuere out how to upload YouTube videos

Postby 11_Panama_ » Wed May 30, 2012 9:28 pm

Hola, I can't seem to upload YouTube videos in the forums. Do I have to download them to my comp first? I need play by play instructions since I've never done it before and I'm failing miserably on my own.

First off, hit the youtube button just above the message box. Once you've done that, you have to paste everything after the "watch" bit.

Everything in that link that's bolded is what you want to put in the [youtube] tags.

I would also like to add that sometimes the Youtube links are much longer than normal and that can also cause problems showing them in the forum.
Usually, it is sufficient to have the code between the '=' and '&' sign. Everything before or after can be negated/ignored.

Cheers

This can happen due to being logged into a YouTube account. Logging out and refreshing the page will clear all the excess letters/numbers/symbols.
