I HAAAATE Norton.

Hate it hate it hate it!!!

Finds things, can't remove them. Slow as molasses in January. Dumb as a stump and less interesting to boot.

Grab the free AVG antivirus instead.

Yeah, it has failed you. It listed something as a virus that wasn't a virus. Norton does this all the damn time. Get AVG, [m'kay] Norton, become fly as hell like the cool people.

I'll drag you into whatever I want, sir Fly. And you can't stop me. Now let's get an ATV and make this a [m'kay]' party.

Personally i love ussing norton, and never had an issue with it.
However i do say that norton is deemed TOO secure.

Norton isn't recomended for:
-Players with older PC's
-Hackers
-Modders
-People that have a habit of visiting sites with "Adult" content

A few moar things can be added there, but meh.

... So, Norton isn't recommended for people who are at high risk for malware? Funny, that.

I recommend no AV software at all. They all suck and a proper virus will stroll right through any of them.
Use at least one brain cell when you are surfing the unknown and you shouldn't have a problem. The vast majority of crap you could or would be likely to pick up can be wiped out for free with trend micro house call and there's no program to install.
If you really screw yourself then you reformat; chances are you are well overdue for one of those anyway.
