Thanks guys. I do use Mozilla/Firefox and I guess I'll just have to stick it out with gmail. I did run across Netvibes for a homepage and it looks ok so I may give it a try.

Oh yeah, no domain name for MD.

Well, it was a nice try .

So seriously, stick with Gmail.

Also, you could setup Microsoft Outlook?

Do you have it (usually comes with Word, Excel, powerpoint)?

That's really the best way to check them.

Yeah, I'm all over Outlook, but mostly for work. I'm looking webbased personal use. If gmail is secure enough for Bryant then I guess it's good enough for me.

What do you mean secure enough?

I mean, if you have a decent password, no one else can see it.

What kind of work do you do that your emails are so sensitive :whistling:?

FOX as your homepage?! I hope you don't read it

Verizon is my families Internet provider and I know my parents have an email @verizon.net and they use it for personal use and it's secure. Internet provider email might be a good option as well.

Security is a huge issue with email. Most adults today correspond with their financial institutions via email. I use gmail. I use it on MY tablet, MY laptop, and MY phone, and I have a strong password.

Don't you use a web browser to correspond with your bank/financial institution? And bank websites are always encrypted.

I don't know. There is something about Google that I really don't trust. Information is power and these guys are harvesting a lot of information. Call me paranoid. :whistling:
