The last thing Disney is going to do after spending 4 Billion on Star Wars is to not make anymore Star Wars games. Wait it out, I'd hope to see a flight sim game come out.

I read somewhere that they won't make games... they will only allow other companies to do it, usually movie tie ins

If they see a potential in making money in Star Wars games, they're going to make Star Wars games. Punto.

Profit is not enough? My understanding is... maximizing profits is the universal goal of any industry.

Best thing that could have happened. The games were always best done out of house. Their internal production was utter [poo].
[04:25] -SR-Mandalore: who pitches and who catches
[04:29] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: We'll do it in turns.
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: That sounds super fair
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: Do you think other gay couples do that?
[04:30] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: I reckon so.

For example, SWBF2 was only published by LucasArts - the developer was Pandemic.

I expect the next games we'll see will be a licensed game or two tied to the new movie.
