My server probes indicated that there were a total of 450 servers on the masterserver, with 1,288 players (in both V1.0 and v1.1) at exactly 10:46 AM PST today. The usual numbers are around 350 players with about 100 servers. Compared to the last steam sale for swbf2 last year, this influx of players is by far greater.

The real question is will these new players stay with us?

If only 10 % of these players stayed, it would still be a great amount. Today, (yesterday actually) gave me a sense that we might be around a little longer, thanks to the Steam sale. Any prolonged time to it's demise is welcomed by me. It was a great day for the community and the game as a whole. Perhaps there is such a thing as "the force", because this is nothing short of a miracle. May the Force be with us all.

I was... astonished. When I saw the server list... it was longer than ever before I was on and THE SERVERS WERE OVERCROWDED!!! I just tought from "OW MY NAUGHTY GOD THIS IS ***** AMAZING!!!" The only fall down was that I couldn't join JBA and NYC a lot because it the session was full. I have only played 3 battles on NYC I think and a few on JBA. The server that really blowed my mind was that server with 64 players ******* ONLINE!!! It was even full when I wanted to join so I only was able to be on it for 5 minutes or something later on. There will be reasons why there were so many players... maybe it was steam but maybe also other stuff.... Players who didn't have played for more than 3 months were also online like {(SS)}hannibal and lamshadius. It was really cool to see these players again. Also, I've been trying out a lot of new names and only use "ain't of judgement" 1 hour/30 minutes per 2 days. You can only recognice me with my perfect skills and always seeing me on the top of the list on the end of the battle. Some new names: -No Identity-, #Blizzard#, #Rogue Fighter#.
